The road routes that we have compiled are friendly to all levels of riders and were designed for intended use with road bikes, touring bikes, or flat bar road bikes. These routes are ride-able on a mountain bike, though not recommended due to the nature of the road surface and conditions. Some roads may have rougher sections of tar-chip pavement or gravel washed across; always ride with care. Traffic and road conditions are variable dependent on the route, and lights for visibility are highly recommended as well as a flat repair kit. Many routes require crossing bridges so riders should be comfortable riding in slow traffic, riding bridge sidewalks, or walking their bikes for these sections. Keep the rubber side down!

These cyclocross/gravel routes are designed for riders with cyclocross or gravel specific bikes, though can also easily be ridden with mountain bikes. A minimum of 32 c tires are suggested in order to have the best and safest experience. Riders should be comfortable with muddy and slippery conditions and always should travel with a flat tire repair kit. The routes are designed to have a mix of surfaces, and dependent on route will have varying portions of asphalt road riding. Most routes also contain at least one bridge crossing on a main road, and riders need to be comfortable riding in slow traffic, riding on a bridge sidewalk, or walking their bike for these portions. Keep the rubber side down!
