A truly epic ride. This route is challenging, exciting, and adventuresome. Covering gravel bike path, dirt road, single track, double track, and asphalt this route has it all. Perfect for a weekend adventure with friends. Please note this ride has several technical sections, stream crossings, and bridge crossings and riders should be comfortable with their bike handling skills. Warning: after descent on Zimmerman road the road turns to the right and abruptly stops at a creek. Be prepared to stop and hike your bike.
This loop is an excellent course that is great for either a cross bike or a mountain bike. There is portions of gravel bike path, gravel road, single-track, old logging road, and asphalt; a great variety of surfaces for a great ride that isn't too terribly long. Riders should be comfortable with single-track and mud/loose surfaces before taking on this awesome cross course.
This route offers segments of technical climbing and trail riding. Additionally, on the first large gravel descent there are 2 hike-a-bike stream crossings, so be prepared to stop. This course crosses a few Park Service trails that do not permit cycling. This website does not condone breaking this regulation, but simply provides a mapping system. Travel at your own risk. A True Ultra-cross ride, with a nice road section at the end.
